Soul Music had Motown...
A Cappella has O-Town
With a population of nearly 80,000, Ogden is both the seat of Weber County and Utah's most populous town north of Salt Lake City.
Site of the first permanent European settlement in the territory that was to become Utah, and once a major passenger railroad junction, the city has a colorful past as a true crossroads of the West.
Ogden is also known for its beautiful mountain views, as well as its many landmark sites—including Historic 25th Street, the beautifully restored Peery's Egyptian Theater, the Nationally Registered Bigelow-Ben Lomond Hotel, and Union Station.
Present day Ogden attractions include the George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park, the Dee Events Center, Lindquist Field (home to minor league baseball's Ogden Raptors), Golden Spike Arena, The Ice Sheet (curling venue of the 2002 Winter Olympics)...and of course, A Cappellastock.
