Letter from the Mayor
March 15, 2007
Once again, I am very pleased with this opportunity to express my gratitude and support for A Cappellastock, an annual a cappella music festival that has become a trademark event for culture and tourism in Ogden.
Now in its fourth year, A Cappellastock continues to make its home at the Ogden City Amphitheater, scheduled this summer for Saturday, August 25.
A Cappellastock is a high-intensity vocal performance that showcases some of the nation's best a cappella music. Last year's event was the best ever, drawing thousands of visitors from across Utah—and beyond—to our city.
I applaud A Cappellastock's choice of Ogden City as a venue and appreciate its commitment to help historic Downtown Ogden thrive as a center for culture and the arts. I would encourage you to support A Cappellastock, helping to enhance its role as an anchor for tourism and business development in our community.
Please accept my appreciation for your help in making A Cappellastock even more successful this year. With your help, we will ensure that A Cappellastock remains one of the leading cultural and tourism events our great city has to offer.
Sincerely,
Mayor Matthew R. Godfrey
